Abstract

In this article, the author draws the attention of the Archaeological Society to modern methods of remote sensing (remote sensing of the Earth) in the study of archaeological sites in Ukraine using laser scanners by means of UAVs. This article addresses the problems that distort information, disadvantages of classical methods, and advantages in the use of LiDAR equipment. The work carried out is described on the example of the Bilsk Historical and Cultural Reserve and the results are illustrated in various formats. The potential for further analysis and research is laid.
