AIMS AND SCOPE

The scientific journal "Space in Historical Research" is a publication of the National Historical and Ethnographic Reserve "Pereyaslav".

The concept of the journal is based on a comprehensive scientific, professional coverage of current issues using spatial approaches, geographic information systems, remote sensing of land in various fields of historical science.

The journal is a platform for sharing the research results of the scientific community.

Aims and Scope:

  • publication of the results of scientific, research, practical and experimental activities of scientists in various fields of historical science;

  • formation of a platform for scientific discussions, exchange of views on topical issues of historical science;

  • consolidation of the scientific community.

The journal examines a wide range of important theoretical, methodological and practical problems of various branches of historical science related to the use of spatial methods. In particular, the publication publishes articles on archeology, ethnography, historical and local lore, museum studies, history of Ukraine, general history, special historical disciplines, publishes sources, reviews, dedications, announcements, etc.

Athor guidelines

The journal accepts articles in which the results of research in the following areas are considered: the use of spatial approaches and GIS in various fields of historical science (archeology, ethnography, museum studies, source studies, etc.); dedication; reviews, etc.

Review procedure

 

The review of articles submitted to the journal is carried out in order to identify the degree of their originality, relevance and scientific feasibility and relevance of the concept of the journal by evaluating the materials by highly qualified experts.

Publication Ethics

In developing the publication ethics, the editors of the collection took into account the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and experience of other scientific organizations and editorial offices.

The editors of the journal "Space in Historical Research" accept for publication only original materials that have not been published before and have not been submitted for publication in other journals.
