Abstract

The article examines the post-military objects of Lviv region as an object of web mapping. In total, 33 objects, created from the end of the 19th to the end of the 20th century, and which have been preserved until now, were investigated. Political and military events and the development of military infrastructure in the region are highlighted. On the basis of the collected material, a complex of interactive maps of post-military objects of the Lviv region was created, in which a significant amount of various information (cartographic, multimedia, verbal) is visualized. The implemented project, which provides for the constant addition and updating of information, will contribute to increasing the tourist potential of the region in general and the development of military tourism in particular.
