Abstract

The issue of belonging of rock art monuments to a special kind of cultural (archaeological) landscapes, in which petroglyphs played a certain sacred significance and took part in the organization of human development of natural space, is considered in the article.

The role of the natural environment, the development of economic activity of the oldest inhabitants of the Northern Priazovye, as well as the interaction of nature and man, which led to the emergence of primitive forms of religion and reflected in the drawings of the unique monument, are traced on the example of the petroglyphic complex Stone Tomb.
