Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the historical boundaries of the Jewish cemetery in Berdychiv with the help of GIS technologies and to analyze with the help of the Public cadastral map of Ukraine its coordination with other land plots. The technological scheme of research consisted of five stages: analysis of input materials; geometric correction of cartographic and aerial materials; vectorization of objects of interest; synthesis of all vector data layers; creation of the resulting cartographic materials and analysis of research results. The paper presents the results of research on the historical boundaries of the Jewish cemetery in Berdychiv, based on archival cartographic materials and aerial images. The defined territory is plotted on a modern topographic plan and compared with land plots plotted on the Public Cadastral Map of Ukraine.
